next 4 cards for life
still working on this challenge and posting on this blog encourages me to keep going
as you can see I am still loving nestie easle cards and the papers I have used are from the K and Co "Que Sara Sara" pad , the little girl is a swap from one af my lovely pals on MSE coloured with promarkers and the other toppings are from the " a bit odd " embellishments that came with the pad I am not sure if I like them or not but the did seem to match

and this is mine to her
this is the card I sent to Flourgirl, the theme green or lilac or both so this plate I had made with my (at the moment) favourite "poppies" stamp coloured with prismapencils fitted the lilac part and since I am also (at the moment) in love with nestie shaped easle cards I used green card for the easle

craft for life again
Sunday, 18 April 2010
Over on MSE Wanna-b-rich posted about her "nestie" easle card and I was completly blown away by her example, so much that I set out to make one myself. I chose a Label shape which I cut in two shades of blue, I coloured a prima flower with shades of blue promarkers and heat embossed the tips with gold powder added a acetate butterfly to the centre. I used teardrop shaped gemstones and twisted wire to make my butterfly at the left side. I decorated the base with matted nestie circles and a sentiment from stash.

found the challenge
I jotted down a sketch and made a card but now I am having a senior moment and have no idea what the challenge is or the time scale, but here it is anyway.
I have been playing about with masking images and have made masks for most of my "people" stamps so tried a floral plate stamp over the top of the beautiful Miss "Demure" sugar nellie stamp I think it works quite well. The papers are from Papermanias Rose Garden the flowers and brads from stash and the green "curlys" are cut with my cuttlebug and edged with mica gold
Thanks for visiting

windswept
During the recent storm I hid in the attic and crafted (when we had electricty) and although it was supposed to be "british summertime!" and I was supposed to be thinking about Easter what I wanted to craft with was this lovely Sugar Nellie young lady and since the Passion for Promarkers challenge this week called for 2 images I gave her a boy friend from the Autumn collection (also Sugar Nellie). I chose a leather textured card and stamped a treeline accross then colour tinted below. I stamped my 2 images with Memento pad and coloured with Promarkers Mustard,Tan,Oatmeal, Cocoa and Spice. I cut them out (that was the hard bit) and mounted them with silicone gel glue, double mounted the card on gold and yellow card added a ribbon from stash, and thats it.
