passion for promarkers
This weeks challenge at Passion for promarkers (see side bar) is "anything goes" so the only thing I was thinking about was ..thats our summer gone after 3 days of stunning heat blue skies and eating in the garden today is cold - temp down to 10 degrees and here in the far north "possible snow on the hills"!!!!! so of course I needed to do a Summery card and my new stamp set from Joanna Sheens, Jayne NetleyMayhew "Harvest mouse" filled the bill beautifuly.
I stamped the card with the Poppy stamp, masking some areas to get a variation and coloured with Promarkers in Mustard,Amber, Saffron, Red and Meadow Green. The Harvest Mouse I coloured with Oatmeal,Saffron, Caramel and Meadow Green and cut with a Nestability Scalloped Oval which I mounted on WeRmemory keepers card Silver lining - Vivid which seemed to match the poppy colours so well. I have had the brown mesh in my stash box for ages and I think it looks a bit like an old rustic fence you see round a corn field
Thanks for looking

passion for promarkers
The current challenge at Passion for Promarkers (see side bar) is "Strawberries and Cream" . I have made the card a 6x6inch covered in the very last sheet from my K&Co Que Sara Sara which is lovely strawberry shades with touches of green, My image is Sugar nellies "Reflective" to colour her I have used Promarkers in Bright, Lime and Grass green, Red and Cardinal and Cocktail pink and for the hair Tan and Caramel.
I mounted her on Cream card cut using my new Curved Rectangle Nestability dies. I used my Fiskas border punch to cut 2 border strips from the same papers and as I didnt have a matching green paper I coloured white paper with my Bright green promarker before cutting with the same border punch Finally ( if you have read this far) I cut a strawberry from a magazine, mounted on a nestie cut card .
Thank you for looking and do please leave a comment x

challenge card
I should also like to enter it into Magical crafts fortnightly challenge (see side bar)
I have used
Music Paper from a Crafthouse Press book which was a christmas present, mounted on silver mirri. I punched hearts on white card mounted on mirri again as a border. The heart is white plastic and has been in my stash box for years I stamped with my new Florish stamps in silver then heat embossed ( very carefully ) in silver Heritage embossing powder to give it the filigree look. The sentiment I printed on the computer and mounted on a nestie oval. in case you cant read it ( its not the best photo, if you click on it it gets bigger)) it says " You are the music of my heart" oh and to complete the musical theme I used the font Vivaldi.
I hope you like it, and thankyou for looking
