Sugar bowl challenge

The challenge in the Sugar bowl is a sketch with optional extra Buttons

I love this image which is part of a set called Autumn I used promarkers to colour and my nesties to mount the image. The "tree branches" are cut with my new shapeabilities "Doodle parts" from spellbinders (do they have to keep bringing out gorgeous new dies)

The leaf brads have been in my stash for years as I could never work out what to do with them but I think they work here. Ribbons and buttons are also from my stash.

Zentangle

OK own up how many of us have been "artists" for years without knowing it, after watching Barbara Gray (Clarity Stamps) on C&C on Sunday I now know that what I have passed many quiet moments doing is "Zentangle" an art form not a doodle! Thus armed with the confidence that its "alright" I decided to use one as a card topper. What do you think?
I know that I find it very theraputic and can loose myself quite easily into the little marks.
Try "google" if you want to see some stunning examples.
I used my bug and nesties to cut out the shapes, and the charm came as a pressie in a swap the rest is all "out of my head" :)

Bevs Bag Prize

Oh myOh my just look what I got, lots and lots of lovely ribbons.
When I was drawn out of the " Bingo Bag of chance" by the Marvelous Mollie from the Ribbon Emporium aka Crafty Ribbons I knew I would be getting a bag of ribbons but my goodness when you open the bag and see the shimmering colours, the glints of glitter ,and the sheen of silkiness it is mouthwatering. The ribbons are all a yard( oops probably a metre) long and there are 17 of them!!!!!!! some of them I have ideas for already, and I have had them for 30 mins, others will probably never be used they will join some Anna Griffin papers in my SPECIAL box which get taken out, stroked and put safely away again ( remember golum and "my precious" ) One day I may "love" someone enough to use them, but not yet, not yet.
Thank you to Crafty Ribbons for a beautiful prize and if you have not yet tried the site do ,cos they have lots of freebies and last but not least absolutely fabulous ribbons
Thanks for visiting, your comments are valued

Black and White

Mse challenge this fortnight is Black and White I have cheated everso slightly by using eggshell
as my skin colour and since (I hope) greys are a shade of black this should be ok, Fifi let me know if I am disquallified. It is so absolutely beautiful today that I took my camera outside to snap the card. What a difference sunlight makes, the card flowers look so crisp and the white zings.
