Once there was a cat and he loved his bed , he had used it very well for many years and it had survived many washes but still retained all the comforts he required until..... one wash too many and it fell to pieces.
A new bed was bought the removable cushion from the old bed inserted into the new bed and that's it ...or not as the case may be

This has taken 5 days and I think Dandy is just being too picky now and thinks he deserves two beds, he now alternates between the two. Next step is to remove the old cushion By the way that is a toy catnip mouse on the floor not the real thing :):)

I did a double-take when I spotted these photos and checked that our Bonnie was still here and not a couple of hundred miles away in Inverness ... she could be Dandy's twin! And it is so funny ... you can't force a cat to do anything. Bonnie spurned her comfy and classy bed for just about anywhere else in the house, as long as I'm somewhere nearby ... she's my little shadow :) Right now she is under my chair and stretched along the length of the the radiator beside me ... it's a cat's life :)) Elizabeth xx
ReplyDeleteLovely photo's Toni! Sorry I have no solution for you - maybe he's now got used to the new bed? I think it's just typical cat behaviour! I swear our two listen out specially for me to open our bedroom door so they can sleep on our bed (forbidden territory. xx
