WOYWW 196

Well how did the box turn out? I think I am fairly happy,  have a look and tell me.

its Wednesday and today on my desk is the very first page in my very first journal and yes it did look sooo white and yes it was intimidating
so I just smeared it over with some TH distress inks, sprayed with water and now I am  wondering just what to do next.  I am in awe of all the pages I have seen on here and on the various web sites I have visited, there does not seem to be a right or wrong way so I am just going to get out the stamps and see what happens.   Maybe by the next time I post I will have something a bit more interesting  Wish me luck :)

Right while this dries a bit( and 'cos I am still a bit scared) I am going over to Julia's to see what she and all you other woyww's are up to today

  1. The box looks lovely and as for the journal? The longest journey begins with a single step. Good luck

  4. Well done you on beating that blank page - good luck with what you do next. The yellow speaks to me of spring sun...but we only saw that yesterday, and today is grey again! Have a fab WOYWW, Deb #100

  5. Your box is beautiful Antonia. I love the flowers and the matching tag.

You’re very brave tackling an art journal. Like you, I’m in awe of all the wonderful ones I see on my travels in blog land but unlike you I’m too scared to try it for myself. I look forward to seeing your first pages finished.
    Happy Crafting!

  8. Ah, blank page syndrome Antonia..common prob! Don't be scared though - you've made a start and you are absolutely right..you just go with your own flow. I suspect that once you make that leap, you'll get really into it. I'm excited for you!

  9. The box is perfect, as far as journal pages go, sometimes they can be intimidating, but hey, let loose and just do something, it will all work out and look fantastic.

  10. Love the box! Your journal has a good start. I've not been able to get over all that white either. The book is intimidating to me so,I play on a torn out page...works for me. Good luck with yours. Happy WOYWW! Nan #3

  12. love the box it turned out well! Awesome start to the journal trek! I learned that you just have to mess up the page and keep adding layers till they look like you want them to! No right or wrong. My daughter tells me I am too critical with my own work! Little late getting around this week but better a little late then never! Hope you have a great week. Vickie #11
